A little care keeps them soft, warm, and yours for longer. Heavyweight fleece asks for very little — just a gentle hand.

• Wash cold, inside out — Turn them inside out and wash on a cold, gentle cycle (30°C / 86°F or below). This protects the brushed interior and keeps the embroidery looking crisp.
• Wash with like colours — Especially for the first few washes, keep them alongside similar shades so the deep charcoal stays rich.
• Skip the fabric softener — Fleece doesn't need it. Softener coats the fibres and dulls that just-brushed softness over time. A mild detergent is all they ask for.
• No bleach — ever.
• Tie the drawcord before washing — so it stays put and doesn't disappear into the waistband.
• Air dry when you can — Lay flat or hang to dry in the shade. It's gentler than heat and helps them hold their shape and colour.
• Low and slow in the dryer — If you do tumble dry, use low heat and take them out while slightly damp. High heat can shrink heavyweight fleece and flatten that soft, brushed feel.
• Cool iron only — and avoid ironing straight over the logo. Turning them inside out does the trick.
• Wash less, love longer — Heavyweight fleece rarely needs a full wash. Spot clean small marks and air them out between wears — fresher for longer, and less pilling too.
• Fold, don't hang, for storage — heavy fabric can stretch on a hanger over time.

Treated gently, they only get softer with every wear — ready for the next slow morning.
